Carnival Network South and Cowley Road Wroks are running a dynamic and interactive day of carnival training and information sharing.

There will be a range of creative workshops, information sessions and collaborative opportunities for participants to focus on:

  • Sustainability
  • Working better together
  • inspire opportunities for joint commissioning and joined up resources and activity
  • reduce event management costs
  • reduce production costs
  • understand the challenges with outdoor arts events and Carnivals
  • involve the right partners – inclusion for all
  • find joined up approaches to saving money, accruing funds
  • creating better content and producing memorable and high-quality community events for all.

The Event space has been generously donated by Cowley Road Carnival’s major sponsor, Oxford City Council and is being delivered in partnership with Carnival Network South at Oxford’s historic Town Hall.

This event is designed to offer sharing and learning opportunities for the carnival sector, by the carnival sector. New workshops and presentations are being added all the time so please get in touch if there is an opportunity your organisation would like to contribute.

Food and drink (buffet style) will be provided.
