We are streaming Virtual Carnival live on Carnival day from 11 am and we want you to get that carnival vibe and join in, wherever you are. We will be bringing you the Carnival spirit to your front garden, balcony or door-step. What is more, we want you to participate and be part of the day’s festivities.

We are showcasing all the brilliant artists, musicians, stall holders, traders and communities who make Cowley Road Carnival the celebration we know and love. Here are some ways you can get involved in our online carnival.

Virtual Procession

Do you still have any fantastic costumes from years gone by?

Or perhaps you’d like to get involved in our upcoming online carnival workshops and make your own costumes with items you have about and things you might normally throw away, and hold a mini procession in your home?

If so please send photos or videos to artistic_producer@cowleyroadworks.org so that we can join them all up together and make a Virtual Carnival procession.

Food videos from Cowley Road traders and stall holders

Food is the main ingredient of wonderful Carnival Day. For our Virtual Carnival Day, we would love to share your festival recipes, to inspire people to cook up carnival flavours. Could you make a How to video and share your recipe? Especially if you are one of our regular stallholders or street traders.
